MY First K-Mag and my opinions on it!
« on: August 29, 2009, 10:48:00 AM »
Last week I asked for opinions on the older K-Mags since I had just purchased one and was waiting for it's arrival. I've been skeptical for years on the shootability of a short older bow. I was concerned that the bow would cause finger pinch, and be hard to shoot well at distances. Well they say a picture is worth a thousand words. So here you have it! Mind you I just picked this bow up from the post office at 930 this AM. Grabbed some alums that I figured might be close to spined right, and out to the back yard

No noted finger pinch, smooth drawing bow! This bow will see some field time this fall!

I get a few my self and they are good shooters ; accurate up to 25 ys as yours, very quiet as well.I consider the Kodiak Mag a great hunting machine as good as modern bows.

It’s obviously not working out for you. The 3 left ones are OK but the 2 to the right are way off. Send the bow to me and I´ll get rid of it for you no extra charge.

Joking, of course. That’s real good shooting considering it’s so early in the morning and all.

So there is no pinch? I have a 52" Black Panther Hunter and I feel no particular pinch either but it has 40# - 45# written on the handle not 58# like on yours.

Nice bow you have there.

Simon

Just back from another shooting session, and Yes Simon it is a nice bow! Not mint, but pretty! I won't have to worry about it in the field! It will take me some time to adjust to the grip. THe 65K I've been shooting has a much narrower grip!
