I just saw a question about a guy that possibly misread the weight under his side plate and it reminded me to ask folks this question...I have two K-mags 52" bows and they start with the KU in the serial #'s..Both have written on the riser 45# BUT ONE HAS 45#X and I understand the X stands for a few pounds more...Well I removed the old side plate to install a new one on that bow only and it has 55X written on it and I could see how if someone was at the end of the line finishing the bow could of thought that 5 looks a little like a 4 the way someone written it behind the plate...So I scaled it several times and it is 55# on the money @28" draw..Original finish and has the embedded gold/brass medallion so I'm guessing very early 70's...Has anyone ever noticed a mismarked bow that obvious..When you shoot both bows you can feel the weight is heavier as well...Also the other is really nice and looks new with the green bear hair and lines on the leather strike plate...I thought about selling them both but would the one mismarked be a collector bow? Thanks &God Bless, Keefer's <")))><
