Hey guys, I'm new here. My father recently pulled an old bow out of his barn and gave it to me. It says...
R
X5672
70"
37#
I got a new string for it (66" real length, dacron, white). Feels nice!
Question for you all. The distance between the top riser and the string is about 3/4" greater than the distance between the bottom riser and the string. Is that normal for this bow, or is it a defect?
And does anybody have a guess of the year of this thing (late '50s my dad thinks), or have any interesting facts about it? Like why is it so long yet less powerful than most other similar bows I see?
Thanks guys!
