Nice to see that you can still pick up a cord of bows ...

Soon you won't need a bow rack, you can panel a room!

CODY, nice find way to go. Cody, I have that exact same Bear quiver with the cloth storm cap. They usally get lost or misplaced, I was lucky I found mine in the zippered pocket.

Cody - Great find ! I see a couple of Left Hand bows in the batch that should make good traders to all the Left Hand shooters we have here.

Ron - You are correct, Storm Caps for the Northwoods quivers are rare indeed. I have only ever found one of them. It is the rubberized cloth, which if I remember correctly was the first advertised material for the Storm Cap. Not sure when Bear changed to the non-rubberized cloth, but makes sense as the Nimrod Storm Caps are non-rubberized cloth. Can you post of photograph of yours?

Ron - Just got your email with photographs of your Northwoods, so will edit my post here rather then add another post.

Your Northwoods has a Nimrod Storm Cap which has a much larger outside diameter. The original Northwoods Storm Cap is on the quiver fourth from right on the top row in the photograph that on a post last March. It fits pretty tight around the quiver and is much smaller in diameter than the Nimrod Storm Caps, shown on the bottom row.

Ron this is the photograph of your Northwoods with the Nimrod Storm Cap that you emailed to me and asked me to post...

There is a lot of light & dark color variation in the Nimrod Storm Caps. Yours is a real nice one with the original tag in it with the catalog number. Those are hard to find...

I will start out with the bow that most every one wants to know about... A few people who saw this bow in person said it's looks to be one that Howard Hill made back in the 1930s.. and there is some very very small hand writing which a few people say it looks to say Hill or Howard.. But it's so small I can't make it out.. There are no other writeing on this bow what so ever.. Still a cool old all bamboo bow from the ealry days..

Cody ( any help would be great guys )
