That one target bow looks like a Hoyt Pro Medalist, or someone made it to look similar. Can't make out what the decal in that pictures says because of all the glare from your flash.

Regarding the supposed Hill longbow-did you look at the writing under a magnafying glass? Who is to say that it is not a Howard Hill made bow.

That spitfire sold new in 1963 for 130.00. thought you might like to know that. Shakespeare also made some big blocky risered target bows in the 60's that look alot like that target bow you have.

Thanks wadde..... Man I wish I was LH because I would shoot the spitfire for indoor target shooting... But since I have that on RH target bow I going to use that.......

Good grab, glad they found an appreciative home, just so you know there's a target bow like the groves (model and dexterity I don't know if same year)on the auction site opening bid is 2 bills with no bids yet so don't get buyers remorse.

Cody the shakespeare target bows were large and resemble the bow you have but were from the early 70's not the 60's as I previously mentioned. I was mistaken. Anyhow nice find and if you are not hooked yet on this collecting thing you never will be. Welcome to the disease. It is terminal but quite enjoyable. The symptoms will get worse as the years go by but they are quite tolerable and relief is found with each bow find. You will shoot them and trade them and even sell some. The end result is still to be determined by all that suffer this terrible affliction. Much has been published about this disease and no cure has been found as of today. To be saddled with this affliction at such a young age has to be quite difficult as alot of us were not infected until post puberty. Good luck and lots of support from us all. Keep us posted on your progress.

Wade, I emailed you the photos you wanted of the northwoods quiver and storm cap, if you would post them on here thats fine with me. I looked on my Bear CD and it shows a cloth cap for the 1948- 1949 northwoods quiver, but this cap has a tag on the inside that reads Q 835 and that means its probably a cap from a Nimrod quiver, it shows a dead ringer photo of it on the Bear CD for the Nimrod quiver for the year 1955 so I think that the owner got the caps mixed up from the various quivers that my friend bought at the estate sale?

Cody , that bamboo bow looks just like a Howard Hill bow that I owned and sold a few years ago , the guy I got it from got it from Howard himself , they were neighbors.
The fades and tips look exactly the same and the belly was ground flat and nodes were proud on the back . Good find bud

Thanks for the info Ted,

Love to find out what the last one you posted is Cody, I just had a 50# 64" one just like it come in the store yesterday, serial # E2219.
Bear writing on the specs but no logo or name for ID.
This one has the bear feather rest and strike plate not the elevated rest like yours.
