String leaches?

My mom picked these up for me in the states in case I might need them. I put them on my recurve and they do reduce noise but the open up the strands on the string a bit. Is this ok?

if you take some dental floss and tie it above and below each leach, it will keep them in place even when the bow is unstrung.

It's fine if your brace height is what it's been it's all good.

They have worked great for me on Recurves especially and tying them in works just as smallwood said!

They do a good job in quietening the bow but with small diameter FF, D-97, etc. strings, they will cut in half before long. At least that has been my experience with them.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.
