Bear A mag help
« on: January 20, 2010, 09:43:00 AM »
I am using a Bear A mag in great condition I have 2 sets of limbs one are the original camo limbs from Grayling and the second set in a FF pair can I use the FF set with a FF string on this riser or should I stick with a B50 string I am using on the origin limbs.
Thanks
Dave
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

I am using the FF limbs, 55lbs. and 60 lbs. on my B mag riser. I use a skinny string also. So far (1 yr. ) no problems. I intend to use the 55lb. limbs agian this year to hunt with.
It seems Bear did not have the same problems that other bow companys had with mag handles breaking from poor castings. Also it seemed to be the early cast compound bow handles that broke. Hope this helps.

I am no expert, but if the limbs can handle a FF string I can't see it affecting the riser.
