Attic Find
« on: January 29, 2010, 07:32:00 PM »
Hello,

I hope this is the correct place to post this.

I recently did some work for a realtor cleaning out a house after an estate sale. I found the following items tucked away in one corner of the attic.

I'm wondering if there is any value in these and would like to find someone to sell them to.

Five bows

Closeup 1st small fiberglass? childs bow

Closeup 2nd Smaller Indian Archery, Evansville, IND

Closeup 3rd Indian Archery, Evansville, IND

4th Indian Archery bow, wrapped in forest green camo tape, seems to be identical to previous bow.

5th Bow, Gordon Plastics Inc, San Diego CA. It has 37 imprinted on back of the handle.

It is all good stuff, the Bear Boxed arrows always sell great and the green arrows are to die for(send those this way) If that archery back tag is not ripped, you may as well send that one too..
really it is a great find.

The arrows are worth more than the bows.

Just checked the arrows in the Bear boxes and they don't have any markings on the shaft. The broadheads say 'Hills-Hornet' on them.

Since they don't have the logo on them could they just be stored in the boxes and not the original arrows?

I'd be interested in some Pearsons if you decide to part with them.

I think the green crowned arrows with orange crest and 2 grey barred and 1 orange barred feathers are Bear arrows but the rest are Pearsons I believe.

From looking again at the tags on the boxes vs the arrows inside them, it looks like the arrows were just being stored inside them and don't match the tags on the boxes. The all metal Ivanhoe arrows are matching though.

The Ivanhoe's are sharp looking arrows.  Quality stuff for sure.
