Questions for Bear collectors and owners
« on: February 18, 2010, 11:20:00 AM »
I got this bow in a trade sometime back. I've never strung it but the limbs are straight. I know its a Kodiak Magnum 52" 50@28. The serial number is 14BJ58R if that helps. I've never seen one like this. It does not have any phenolic/overlays on the front of the handle. You can see where someone tapped and put a plunger in the sight window. Does anybody have any additional information about this bow?

I can email pictures...I've never had trouble posting pictures on here or anywhere for that matter but today has ended my good fortune. I wish the innovator of Photobucket a swift shot to the wedding tackle.

No overlays and that serial number put your Kmag in the 1963 "dogleg" series. There where 3 riser types produced so a picture would really nail it down.

Thanks for the help guys! Any idea of the value, I'm never going to shoot it so I considered selling or trading it off.
