The Gelco line of bows came out mid to late 50's they did not last but a few years. Theyare prone to explosion.
Here is a 1958 model 800 (Hunter's Special). It has a 5" sight window, molded green dyed.. epoxy resin and fiberglass having 5x the strength of wood composite. Maple limb core-wood and woven glass limb lamination.
Full working recurve.
Max draw length on this model is 30". Weights up to 75# where available. It retailed for, $44.95 in 1958.
