They are definitely shooters! Smooth on the draw as well. I have a Walnut/Shedua 60" 53@28". I have a custom 60" 53#@28" Cocobolo/bocote with birdseye bocote veneers and walnut limb cores should be here anytime. Best of luck to ya with yours!

Excellent choice!

My current favorite bow is a LH 58" Hunter II with Maple/Bubinga riser and Elm limbs.  It's 55lbs at my 29" draw length...

I also have a LH 60" Hunter I with Shed/Buginga riser and Black Locust limbs.  That one is 54lbs at my 29" draw...

I have a LH 56" Hunter, Zebra/Walnut with Walnut limbs on order...

I've got one just like it !  ;)  You'll find it very handy for a long time to come I'm sure.
I've got 51 and 71 pound limbs.  Would really like to find some 60+ limbs for it too.

If you ever re-finish that riser, try a wipe of golden oak stain to make the grain pop and give a nice glow to the colors.

Have fun with the new bow !

I went Friday night to pick up a few things, (feathers, string, etc.) nothing major.  Spotted the Check-Mates and gave a couple a try. I was really impressed overall with them. Drove home with a new 62" 56# @ 28" Hunter II takedown.  :bigsmyl:

Robert,
Both my TD Hunters are smooth as can be at my 29" draw length.  Greg up at G&M Archery  (through whom I ordered my 56" Hunter) advises me he shoots the shorter CM's all the time with no problems.  If I remember, he has a 29 or 29.5 inch draw.  He said I'll have no problem with my 56" Hunter.

Thankfully I don't have to choose just one ideal bow from the CM line but if I did, it would be a 60" TD Hunter II, 52-55lbs at my 29" draw.

IMO, try a 60 or 62 inch TD Hunter II.  You'll be hard pressed to find a better combination of smooth shooting, sweet handling, and beauty...

I second the above on the length. I pull to 29.5 and have a 58" Hunter II that is right-on at 54# at 28. I also have a 60" Hunter II that is 10# heavier that I use for elk hunting. No stack on my end with either bow. I actually shoot the shorter bow a little better with no pinch or stack. Good luck!

Robert - I live in MN and Greg shipped me my bow and I got it the next day   :)

I draw 29.5 with my 62" and love the smooth feel of longer limbs. I'm sure you'd be fine at 58 or 60.  I also have the 52" Raven and shoot that without a problem.

Let us know what you get !

I'd like to have the same riser,shedua/bubinga,but with a little darker limb.Something to match the shedua.
