Believe this to be a tool for crimping points on wooden school arrows. Looking for information and value. Markied Ricards Tool & Mach. Co. S. Plainfield N.J.

Jerry,
  I have a tool for crimping points on that a fella gave me several years ago but it looks nothing like that...Mine looks like a set of Pliers and have a rounded section where it fits over the shaft and then you just squeeze the handle together and crimp is complete...Yours must be the "Delux" model...  :cool:

They make such tools (or did) for knurling cannelures in jacketed bullets. This could be a runaway from an old bulletmaker's reloading bench.
