You can usually find Military BDUs in Woodland Camo at Gun Shows pretty cheap. I bought a couple of pair last year for $10 each(new). Not sure I remember Leopard Spot but I do remember Tiger Stripe.

My favorite camo is the old brown woodland camo. That color on pants blends in perfectly with the fallen leaves. I hunt from the ground and they were perfect. I have looked everywhere, can't be found.

DayOne has a pattern call HIgh Timber fleece. It is very similar to Woodland...it uses blacks, browns, tans, instead of green shades. Looks very interesting to me. If only I were made of money.

cabelas outfitter camo series is greenish/gray woodland pattern and they have brown version too. They don't offer it on all of the garment styles but it is available on some. I've been using their micro-tex stuff for several years now and it is holding up very well. - eric

I think the camo pattern rappstar is talking about is this one:

I bought an outfit with this pattern 30 years ago when I was in high school.  It's an awesome pattern in hardwood forests in autumn.

Unfortunately I've long since "outgrown" the pants, and I can't find the pattern anywhere either.  Everyone's gone to the "photo-realistic", super-busy patterns of Realtree, Mossy Oak, etcetera - which look good up close on the store rack, but all run together into one big dark blob at a distance.

I think the closest you will find to this pattern is ASAT. I agree it was a good pattern. It appears trends in camo are reversing.

Try  www.wingsupply.com  they have some pants in the old wwII brown camo. Look in the closeout section.  This is the only place that I have seen this pattern in years.

They have a lot of surplus military clothes and such. I used to order the old green woodland camo pattern from them.
I reckon so

That's some good vintage stuff that pattern. I wish companies still made it. I have still 2 pairs of SAF T BAK brand pants in that pattern & wear them in the fall.
Actually  the "Woodland" pattern is the old Vietnam camo.Great for hunting in thick woods.

I have a light-weight set of green WWII camo like that. I had a pair of insulated pants, but I out grew em. That camo is great stuff.
I seem to remember seeing most often in duck hunting sections...good luck.

Try this:

  http://www.olive-drab.com/od_soldiers_clothing_combat_ww2_usmc_camo.php

We used the Tiger Stripe BDU in my era, but it would be too dark for most woods.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

Man, I scored some of this stuff over the weekend digging through my dads hunting cabinets.  Full jumpsuits and everything.  I love it!

The manufacturer is Safe-t-Back out of Altoona, PA but I doubt they are still around.
