Well I got the takedown today. It is nicer than I imagined. Fred Bear could really build a bow in the 50s, 60s amd 70s. I have several of his cases from that time period also and they are unbelieveable.
It is kind of sad though. The person who owned the bow passed away and his family sold it. You can tell by the bow that he really treasured it and took care of it. Everything is quality and in excellent shape. The sights and stabilizer are top notch, high qualirty. The bow and case are in excellent shape. I can only imagine that he was some great target shooter. I will give the bow and equipment the same respect he did.
Sometimes buying bows is fun and other times it is sad, especially as you get older.
