I have a '69 K-Hunter with Tigerwood and it appears similiar. I am not a wood grain expert though, actually far from it!!

Yes it does looks like Tigerwood (it's called Gonçalo Alves, from here, Brazil) but yet I'm not sure.

What I'm sure that the bow is really beautiful, congrats!!

carp sorry guys I got swamped last week and forgot to check back but that one kind of looks to me like a super grainy shedua riser.Rings look a bit to wide to be tigerwood..........but would it be possible to get a couple more pic of the complete riser ? bd

Bowdoc this is from a knife that my father made, it's tigerwood, what do you think? Is it the same wood? Although my piece of wood isn't that beauty

Here is '68 Magnum i got recently. Has 2 small holes and some surface (stress) marks - but otherwise great condition!
I love these bows!
Darn it's tough to get good pics with a flash. I'm hesitant to refinish this  myself.
