Garage sale finds

Stopped by a garage sale today and saw no archery equipment.  Asked and the guy brought out his mothers equipment.  The short of it is I paid his asking price of $13.00 for everything.

An all wood longbow (looks like a cloth backing), no markings on it, wood arrows with assorted field tips and metal blunts. Three of the arrows had killed deer and had the 1948,49 and 59 metal deer tags attached and a hand made back quiver with Michigan bowhunter buttons attached from 1948 to 1955 on it.

If I take photos (can't do internet)would someone like to give me info on the bow and heads.  I would need your address to mail the photos out.  I would appreciate it.

I am taking photos and sending them to Frank who in return will post them for me.  Forgive me for my computer stupidity when posting photo's. LOL

I am not asking the value on here  just tring to date the bow and heads.  It's obvious that the equipment is around 1948 because of the attached kill tags to each arrow.  The heads are still razor sharp.

The arrows have 4 differant blunts on them as shown.  Not sure what to do with this stuff. I hate to break all this history up. Any thoughts on what kind of bow this is? I have never seen on with a hand guide as shown on the back of the bow.

I would either keep it or sell as a complete set.  Don't break it up.  Irreplaceble history there.

Anyone know what the name of the broadhead is? Its from  the late 40's.

The broadheads look to be either Roy Case Keen or Stan Schaffer Keen style. Because of the finish I would say they are Case.
I think the strip of metal above the grip on the back is a draw check...back of broadhead hits this rather than the fingers.

I believe the broadhead is a Roy Case (from Racine, WI).  Don't remember the model off the top of my head (I'm at work).

It wasn't  a waste of your time.  I have to learn how to down load them first.  Will review after deer seasons (pl).  I have really been busy with Camp Cuervo business also.  I really appreciate your help,
