estimating old bow value is hard at best. i've seen a pair of the exact same old howatt recurves selling for a $300 price spread difference by 2 different sellers. go figure. supply and demand, but mostly "vintage" anything is about demand.
google searches can help, since it might turn up some already up for sale. dunno for sure, but there might be a "blue book" for bows, both real old and newer ones. that'd be a good question to ask in a topic post!
the problem with asking estimated bow price questions on any forum is that it can easily open doors to selling - which, for the most part, is why folks are asking about value. we've had that happen here before and that lead to buying/selling/trading on a non-classifieds forum, and that lead to at least one bad deal. we just can't take that risk, which is why we have trad bow ad posting rules. hope y'all can understand where we're coming from on this matter.
