I jus bid on one from the forbidden site, its 55lbs.....seems to be in great shape!!

has anyone ever shot this bow?

It is long for a recurve.  More like a target bow.

66" is pretty long,

but would it effect it for hunting?
i do know i'll sacrifice manuverability with it, but thats all i cant think of

the length never bothered me but I think its been 15 years maybe more since I shot it, crack through the handle. I always thought it was a great shooting bow, I still have it.
 
I was thinking of trying to repair it until my shoulder started up again, I'll never shoot 58#s or xx60 as its marked, again.

yea its a real easy to see kinda bow, 25 years ago someone could see me carrying it and know what it was from 100 feet away.

I think I took a doe, a few rabbits and a whole lot of dumpster diving coons with it.
