Here's one I'm not sure the EPA would still approve of but it sure is nice!It is absolutely mint condition and has the original Pearson case. I took a few quick photos but they really don't do it justice.

Where is the mercury?  Somewhere in the riser?

Aaron,

The Mercury Capsules are located on the back of the riser where the handle overlay starts on both limbs. You might be able to see one better in this photo. There is a close up of one in the last picture in my first post.

Wow, I think I might have owned that bow about 15-20 years ago.  Had a couple and yours looks awfully familiar! If so, I'm sure sorry I let it go! Nice bow!

Tom,

I'm sure it was but this one doesn't appear to have been used. I would need to borrow Rich's glasses to try and find a mark on it.

Beautiful bow! I really like the old Pearson Mercury bows. I have some and to me they are really good shooters, smooth and hit where I point them.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Awesome. It's very hard to find any these days that are in mint condition. On many, the mercury has leaked out a bit and stained the overlay.

Leaking Mercury!  Oh no, that's an environmental hazard! The EPA will send an expert in a hazmat suit to pick that bow up the day after tomorrow, Jack.

Say, what was your address again?

Do you know the mass weight of the bow?  Have been curious to just what they weighed.

That's a beautiful bow Jack.  You better make sure the guy in the hazmat suit has all the proper ID before you are forced to hand it over!

I'm not sure of the weight of the bow but it is heavy. I thought if I got in a pinch there is probably enough wood in the handle to heat the house for a month. But then again, there is that mercury issue. Better forget that!
