Where to store bow

Where do you store your bow Or bows?  does cold weather affect bow preformance?

I hang mine unstrung from pegs in a closet.  I'm sure cold affects bows, some I'm sure more than others.  As for mine, cold affects me more than the bows, as I've become a bit of a weather-wimp in my old age:-)!!  I have read that Yew is affected by the cold and will loose some of its cast.
