1962 Tamerlane?
« on: March 27, 2011, 11:03:00 PM »
I always thought the 1963 Tamerlane was the first year they were made. I was told they started production in 1962. Is this right? Anyone have a picture of a 1962 model?

Mr T
Just looked at both the 62 and 63 catalog. Let's just say it was not in the add until 63. There fore I would not believe it was marketed until this year. The more I learn about Bear Archery  the more nothing surprises me. So, perhaps developed and made in 62 but not out to the public until 63.

HT I think Larry nailed that one.I am sure there were a few floating around with a salesmen or two (samples) but I don't think they were marketed until 1963 bd

That's what I always thought...but then I'm usually wrong, so who knows.

Anyone know what was the premier Bear tournament bow before the Tamerlane?
