Wanted to bring this back up.
Please share your signed items for others to see and enjoy as well.

I made a decision to pass my signed blonde window green stripe riser to a fellow collector.
I am only gonna keep one and its the all blonde model pictured.

I will be offering the other and very special green stripe riser and limbs that PapaBear gave to Les Line at Grousehaven in 1987 to fellow collectors. It will be accompanied by the Bear Bow rack that hung in the main lodge at Grousehaven with signed documentation.

This is the collecting forum and not the place for buying
Or selling. My wording is confusing and could have been better worded.
I was just expressing my desire to pass it on to other collectors and I will be doing just that.
I have no intention to hoard them. I'm happy with just one.

Philip,

Is the one on the bottom in the top pic and on the left in the second pic a 1982 Bear Signature model? Just wondering as it does not have the gold latches.

Here's a picture from Fred Bear's 80th Birthday party.
Pictured here is Les Line, the editor of the Audobon Society with PapaBear and Jerry Anderson of Anderson Archery.

Posted in another Bear related topic but wanted to show here as well with the hopes of having others join in with signed items from PapaBear.

I received this magnificent A riser in trade from John Kabisa. Signed by PapaBear 1982

Two years ago I saw a Fred Bear hunt as a special feature on a Primos hunting video, that's all it took. A few months later I had traded in my compound for a brand new Bear Grizzly recurve and picked up a copy of his hunting videos and I was hooked. One of these days I will own a signed piece of my hero's history. These are all so wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

Not needing more than one, I have moved 2 signed green stripe td bows to fellow collectors.
The all blonde Td is the one I kept.

I did finally manage to acquire a signed Type 1 B riser to go with my signed Type 1 A riser.
I'll post pics soon.
