We always call that the Tiger photo in my house. My youngest son, when he saw it for the first time, said "Look at the Tiger." It stuck.

When you look at the lion and bear pictures it just reminds us how differently we portray our dead game these days. Those pictures, especially the lion are not too kind to the animals.

Philip, Yep I like that one alot also. Here's one I picked from Floyd Eccleston's collection.
Painted by Barr in 1987 and signed by Fred then too. Fred looks a little weathered, rough but     Hink

Reddogge,
Not to be smart, but how do you be kind to an animal you just put an arrow through.

That's so cool Hink.
Fred must have gotta real kick out of that when he saw it!
It's a real treasure to not only possess such an interesting painting but also to have PapaBear sign it.

Thanks again for sharing your signed items and hope others join in the sharing.

We may have items of our own that are signed but it's a real joy to share them and to see what others have collected.

Kenny-
I think he means how we "pose" the animal for the photo ops. There is another website that he and I frequent and there are always comments about tucking the tongue in, minimal blood please, etc. It seems many people in this day and age feel there is honor and respect being paid to the animal via the trophy photo.
To put a chain around its neck, hang it, and snap a pic would not work on many sites these days.

Sorry to speak for you Richard but I am pretty sure that's what you are gettin' at...

I went to a taxidermy shop a few days ago to drop off a Canada goose and called my friend Cameron Kruse (CKruse) to meet me.  He walks in with an envelope and hands it to me saying "here, I have something for you".  I quite literally got choked up...

Dave, I can't wait for a trip to NJ! Could be a dangerously costly trip.

Dave,
I am so glad that you were able to get that book. I knew how much you liked Bob Kelly from our conversation, and felt bad about my book which I am going to post here. Do I get a finders fee off another item I want? J/K lol

Shane.
