Ordered my first "custom"

Needing a cost effective takedown led me to order a Firefly 3-piece takedown longbow from Jim Jones.  6 to 8 week wait, but I can be patient.  Will post pictures once in hand.

Jim seems to be a great gentleman to deal with.  Gave him some high-level requirements, but turned him loose on the fine details.  Anxious to see.

Well I got my Firefly already.  Took less than a month and it is a beaut.  Just went into the backyard and took a few quick shots (not the best place to shoot) and it is quick and quiet.  Seems to shoot where I look.  I will get some pics posted by the end of the weekend.

Very pleased with the entire experience working with Jim.  Straight up.  Underpromises and over delivers.  Only surprise was how quickly he got it done.

Pics are a must!

Jim is a gem as well as his bows.  Word is gonna get out and those wait times are going to go up...glad you like your bow but I'm not the least bit surprised.
