Traditional Bowyers of America - Dan Bertalan - 1989

Too lazy to go down to my shop and dig out the book, but think he's in there.

I had one of his short, straight end bows once upon a time.  It shot pretty good.  Kinda' wish I still had it.  At least I think it was one of his bows.  Been a few years and too many bows ago.   :)

Yep Cliff, Traditional Bowyers of America page 283. Rocky Miller owner of Heritage Archery and noted for his Predator T/D Recurves and Bridger Mountain Longbows, "both designed for shooting heavy arrows and putting down game". Very Nice Bows!!!
Lots of new bowyers since this was written. Wish Mr. Bertalan would do a follow up to this finely written book.

My son and I have some of his longbows.  Great bows and a great bowyer.  Too bad he packed it in.

Rocky Miller, Bowyer, by Keith McCafferty.

Here is link to a great story about Rock Miller. In case the link fails, search for Rocky Miller, Bowyer, by Keith McCafferty. You will find a cover to Field & Stream, Jan. 1986. Click on the magazine.  Note:  The page numbers at the top, start at 56, which is page 53 in the magazine. There is a picture of Rocky on the previous page. Follow the blue link at the bottom of the page to go to page 95 (magazine) for the rest of the story. Front story picture is page 55, or 52 in the magazine. Hard to miss it.
