Garage sale Bear Bow

I finally found a Bear bow at a garage sale!Its a Grizzly,35#'s ,and 58 inches in length,could I get some help with year of manufacture-serial #5P5652. String length and brace height. Also has a Zebrawood riser.Thank you for your help. not bad for $20!--1Longbow

sounds like a 1965. string length  54"

Agree with Jon.  That's a huge score if in decent shape!  Well, at $20 really regardless of condition it's a huge score.  Congratulations!

I would brace at 7.5" and work up.  Most of my 58" Grizzlies seem best at 8.25"

The 1964 Bear catalog for the Grizzly states between 7and 8 inch brace height. The 64 and 65's are pretty much the same bow.
