Soooo many things kept me out of the woods this season. Life Happens. Glad I had a couple of days huntin' with Team Pink back in October... Anyway... Should have a good tracking snow this weekend. I'm off from work Friday thru Tuesday! Gonna give it all that I got. From the ground that is.

Hey Mike, good luck buddy. I too am planning a last hurrah. We are getting 2-6" tomorrow during the day, and then another "significant" storm starting Sat. afternoon/night.
I would love to spend some time in the woods with you, but I cant commit to anything at this point. I have your number, if I can swing it I will give ya a call.

Well..... The ice storm Thursday held me at work till past midnight. Then... A death in the family and this nor-easter will keep me from the Catskills till Monday....

Never, never, never give up. Gonna make good use of my Bison Gear pack and fill it with lots of stuff to keep me in the woods all day! I Hope.

Looks like the deer won this season. Monday was a tough one. Twelve inches of crusted snow with wind chills in the single digits! Had to keep moving to stay warm. Didn't cross a single track.

Tuesday... No wind but same end story... That's why they call it "hunting". Still Love It As Much As Life! Just being in the woods and fields with a trad bow is enough for me.

Fun part is, even in those conditions, ya just never know when a few deer may wander right past you. I praying for some warmer weather for this weekend in CT...don't want to crunch my way around the mts.
