No. Not a shirt I have seen around. Drab colors work better in these parts. So who is the great one?

Congratulations John -

You are correct, well technically only half correct in that you have his last name correct. "Knick" was his nickname short for "Knickerbocker". His given first name wasn't "Knick"...

I was positive that you would know who he was and thought about eliminating you from this question.

If you want to win the Bear Giant Razorhead, you will have to be the first person to correctly answer each of the next 99 questions...               :saywhat:

I have changed the name of this thread to...

Historical Archery Quiz - 100 Questions for JohnnyRazorhead or Anyone Else

I'll try to stay a couple questions ahead of the correct answers to give everyone more than one subject to think about..

We'll post everyone's score after every correct answer.

This should be a lot of fun for everyone.

Alright,#1)I do know Knickerbockers first name and agree with tuskarawasbowman,it was Ken,not sure of the 2nd "K" in the name. How about Kurt?
#3)Also agree that he was one of the original stockholders in Bear Archery.
#4)The Grumley has the fish-tail splice showing from underneath the grip and,the case is like none I have ever seen and both belonged to K.K. Knickerbocker. That is very significant.

John,

You get credit for #4,

The splice is showing under the grip, however it is a very unusual splice.

Yes, both the unusual case and the Grumley bow were personal belongs of KKK and both are stamped with his name and city.

Question #2 - 1/2 is unanswered correctly

Question #5 - still unanswered correctly
