Ebony show off (let's see those bows)!!
« on: January 29, 2007, 02:34:00 PM »
I was wondering if anyone out there has a combo with ebony in their bows...especially with bocote or zircote, some maple and bloodwood accents....I would like ideas (so many possibilities) just want to see the differences in the beautiful woods for a future bow to shoot everyday.
I always loved this combo and want it in a longbow that I plan to order soon.

I feel bad that I can't shoot constantly with my 50# RER longbow at the shoots like I could before this sporadic pain in my side and until I can get it resolved,I have to drop a few pounds for everyday and at the shoots.

Hey maybe the pain is a blessing in disguise? I get to have another bow!       ;)              :D

Anyone with inspiration?
Thanks so much!!

I have one that I'm getting ready to shape and tiller. It's an ebony riser and bamboo limbs under glass

Here's an Arapaho with Macassar ebony and spalted maple.
