I know, I know some of you are saying why did he do that to a very collectible bow. Well this bow was in very sad shape when I found it. Almost one foot in the grave
This was a fun project and I wanted to share the end results.

Very nice Mike, I just got a '59 Kodiak from Jack Shanks that has been abused, I'll post up some pic's when it's done.

Nice looking bow! Great save on a classic old Bear. I actually like the snake skin backing. It's a good idea and one I'll use some day.

Beautiful work!! I love how you feathered the skins in to the overlays. Very nice. Looks like a fine hunting bow brought back to life!
