1957 Kodiak Quiver ?
« on: December 29, 2011, 03:30:00 PM »
I have a 64" it does have a factory drilled hole/mount on  leather grip handle for a quiver. I have a Bear leather top regular spring arms  L-645 is this period correct ?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, unfortunately not.  In 1957 the catalog only listed the leathertop tape on and bolt on quivers.  It appears that the spring arm appeared in the catalog in 1963 and the leathertop spring arm in 1964(?).  That is the info that I have recieved from others on this site who helped me with my quiver and my 1957 Kodiak Special.

Only another collector would know that it was wrong for your bow and it would kinda feel right in spirit despite the mounting system.  I would use it until you found the correct quiver.

I hope this helps,

Brad
