Wing Bow Quiver Question/Red Wing Hunter Pics
« on: December 29, 2011, 07:40:00 PM »
I came into 2 Beautiful, what appear to be original, complete AMF Red Wing Hunter set ups including bow quivers.Problem is the arrow grippers are falling apart from what appears to drying up and age. Can these pieces be found anywhere? Thanks!

You can get a replacement gripper from Bob York [email protected] They are reasonable and work well.

Yep, What Steve said. Tell Bob what arrows
(diameter) you plan to put in it and he will punch the grippers to fit.

here's a little trivia for ya that was the first rotating quiver. You adjust those wing nuts on the quiver arm. When you remove your first arrow you just rotate the quiver so its easy to get the next arrow and the next arrow and so on.That is a great user right there I love those things bd

I remember reading a story in an old Bow and Arrow magazine  by C.R. Learn where he used the hood as a drinking cup .  Interesting.  Bought a 64# Wing thunderbird for $20 because I wanted the rotary quiver that was on it.  That's a long time ago.

Any idea what a quiver such as this is worth?

I just acquired a 2 of these setups. A 40X#(R-2-2561) right hand and a 45#(R-2-4819) left hand. Even got the fiberglass arrows for these setups. All in very good condition. Are these considered collectible? Any idea of value?

3Rivers carries the replacement grippers as well.
