That riser looks to be all one piece, Nick.
Unusual?

Very nice!

Kenny, Yes, 1 Piece Riser, No I-Beam. Not rare but seems to be less common than the I-Beamers.

Thanks Guys.

I thought I would share a couple of "before" photos of this 62 Kodiak before it travels south for a makeover.  One piece riser.  56#  Most of the finish was removed.

I can't wait to see what it will look like cleaned up and with a fresh finish!  Gotta love brazilian rosewood!!!!!

I'll post some "after" photos when it is done.  I'm looking forward to spending some time with this bow this fall.......in a treestand!

Thanks Charlie.  This one has some wild rosewood going on.  It shoots pretty good as well.  I love those 62 Kodiaks!

Jason,

There are worse things than being bitten by the Bear bug....... I just can't think of any right now.

Many of you know I really like my Grizzlys.  Well I just bought my first Kodiak.  I believe this to be a 1962.  Sure does shoot nice!

Yeah, I took the price tag off after the picture was taken!
