refinishing Q.

just picked up a Ben Pearson hunter the finish is cracking so I want to fix. can somebody get me started please thanks.

First thing first, get some sandpaper and get rubbin. Use some 150 grit on the wood until the finish comes off then increse the grit to 220, then 350 and so on until its smooth enough to your liking. Then spray a finish like spar on ot and let it dry. Buff that with 0000 steel wool and repeat with another coat until you reach your desired finish.
