Bear Grizzly
« on: February 01, 2012, 08:36:00 PM »
A question for all you fellow tradgangers...

My father recently purchased a beautiful used Bear Grizzly...serial number #9R2106. I would like to find out the year of manufacture of this bow. From what I've found, it appears it was manufactured in 1969. Can anyone clarify that for me? Also, I'm looking to purchase a vintage Bear quiver as a gift...roughly the same year his bow was made. What bow mounted quiver would that be?

Thanks!

If it has a 56" AMO it will be a 1969.

I'll get some pictures this weekend.  It's in great shape and he would like to hunt with it come fall time.

Thanks for all your responses...stay tuned for pictures.  :)

As promised, below are some pictures of the Grizzly.  I removed the original arrow rest, which was in bad shape and installed a new Bear Hair rest and side plate.
