65, 66 Kodiak ?

Just picked up a Bear Kodiak, sn GL6511. Is this a 1965 bow or 66? Any identifying characteristics to distinguish the two years other than the serial number? Thanks.

'65 has green glass on limbs and '66 brown glass.

I'm guessing the G is actually a 6 and it is a 66.

Looks like it's a 66. Has brown glass. Could be a G instead of a six. The top part of the letter/number is straight, doesn't have a curve in it, but folks write differently. Thanks to both of you.

That first digit would be a 6, not G. Bear marked them that way in '66 with a 6 as the first digit.

Don't have a clue as to what the "G" would mean.
Anybody?

Don't have the bow in my hands yet, but upon looking at the pix again, I think the serial number starts with a 6, not a G.
