Ron, probably right ...doesn't NEED a finish, but if your gonna put one on it should be done right, and that's what bothers me also. If I'm making a dymondwood riser for my self and decide not to put a finish and there may be a chance of moisture in the glue lines...that's my decision.Dymondwood will still contract . but a company should have the ways and means to put a professional finish on any bow.
