Grayling TD Limb Question(s) PIC ADDED

Hi, new to the forum. I collected heavily years ago and fortunately still have most of it. Lately I've gotten interested again and while reviewing my TD limbs I noticed an anomaly. I have one set of early dimpled limbs that have no designation for weight on a C handle, nor mention thereof. The normal length and poundage are there for A and B handles. I was wondering how common this is and if other forum members have similar limbs. Many thanks in advance.......

I just saw a set of these dimple limbs on the auction site within the last month. First time I have seen them.

Xavier, it is not just the dimpled limbs as I have several sets of those. These limbs must be very early, prior to beginning production on the C handles. That's just a guess on my part and I hope some of the members with far more knowledge than I have will weigh in.

Before the internet opened the doors to the world, we thought they were rare like many other now collectible things.
Markings as you describe are not the norm but not uncommon.
I've had dozens of sets with only A and B specs written on the limb.
Seen often in dimpled sets and i have found them marked that way with limbs of high weight mostly.

They have no higher dollar value either in my experience.

Phillip, thanks for the input. I currently have 11 sets of dimpled limbs and no other set share these characteristics. This set is also not a high poundage set. Just thought it odd as I can't remember ever noticing it before. I'm not concerned about a potential bump in value as I never seem to sell anything anyways. Again, many thanks...

KF over 40# in some cases some early limbs in some cases were only marked for the A & B because they were hunting weight limbs rather then target weight limbs.....hey got any pics of some stuff ? for us to enjoy ? bd

Thanks everyone for your ideas. There seems to be a couple of different opinions. BD, I would be happy to share pics here is one of the limbs in question. Another question. I also have a set of 1st year limbs in factory camo. Again they are very uncommon in my remembrance. Anyone else have any?

Very Nice stone work!!!! Beautiful and finely detailed ..... That glass point is Very Very NICE. There is a display on Ishi in the Berkeley Campus Museum if you ever get out this way that is well worth the visit.

I think I have the pictures fixed. Not very good resolution, but within the rules I guess. I'm currently working on a group of Ishi tribute displays closely replicating his arrows. They will be placed on an L shaped wooden stand with an 8X10 framed portrait on the vertical short side and an arrow on the horizontal base on a custom stand/holder. There will be at least 3 variations. I understand he fletched some of his arrows with bluejay feathers. If anyone has any pics of these please post them........
