What is the deal on this bow? It looks like an early version of the Hunter.

I have had a few of these and in different models and have wondered how the fit into the Howatt Martin Damon Howatt time line and story. I believe it went Howatt then Martin separate then Howatt became Damon howatt and them Martin took over Damon Howatt and ditched the Damon Howatt name.

Damon Howatt made several bows for Martin prior to Martin buying the company around 1976.  This looks like one of them. I believe Martin is still using the Damon Howatt name in their Traditional Line of bows.
