AMARCO (American Archery Co) recurve?
« on: June 13, 2012, 05:54:00 PM »
I have a American Archery recurve that is 64 inches long and is marked 53@28" have not scaled it though and the serial number is 7E136. It looks to be a dark colored riser and brown glass. Has been spray painted on the limbs. I think I was told it was a 1958 year. Can anyone help me out with that? That is all that is on the bow other than the American Archery sticker Clarndon Hill,Illinois on the upper limb.I was also ondering about brace height for it and where I should measure it from? There are no nock overlays on it but boy is it quiet and shoots well.I thought about having someone add some overlays on it but not sure. Thanks Flint

They moved to Wisconsin in about 1966.
