Picked up this Ben Pearson bph-52 at a yardsale for $35. At first I thought it was normal but after further inspection, it just seems different. The first thing that I noticed is that the grip is a very high wrist grip with a very full palm swell, your hand is almost completely horizontal when you're holding the bow. Also, the bow is made of 3 pieces of zebrawood instead of one. Another odd thing is a silkscreen star under the bph-52 logo. I know that other companies used stamped stars to show a repaired or imperfect bow. Here are the pics so just let me know what you can figure out.
I am also looking to find out how much it is worth. I know that the mods don't necessarily like people asking that but I am not trying to sell it on this thread. I got a base price for standard bph's but don't know if it applies to this bow.
Sorry if the pics are too big and thanks in advance to all who help.
