Sorry but there's no way I could leave that in shrink wrap. I know that's the "wise" thing to do and I admire that you can, but I couldnt, no way.

Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

Chuck - the Type II A came from a collector in NJ.  Al Reader told him about it about 14 years ago (Al was known to have a couple "B" handles still wrapped in their original shrink wrap!).  The collector told me it took him over a year of negotiations with the owner in order to obtain it.  Lots of calls in those days before most had the internet.  Anyhow, the collector decided to trim down his collection last year and put it on the big auction.  I jumped on it the next morning with a BIN.

Thanks for the feedback guys, but I figure it is only "new" once!  There are some folks out there that would scalp me for sure if I ever removed that plastic!

Besides....I have that sweet Type I A that shoots like a dream!

Yes sir , great stuff guys. I will jump in soon as Im home for more than 2 hours. Soon as I got off work and drove the 3 hours home , I loaded the truck picked up my new 1970 B-handle at the post office and drove 4 hours to my friends ranch for a few days of hunting. Needed to break in the 70 with some woods time , not sure if hunting in this Tx heat is sane or not.....

Above is my "special" B handle from Big Jim. I will enjoy this one until I find the real Stickbowman. Thanks to Rich Tiberio for allowing me permission,

That Bubinga handle is nice Shane.

The shaping and styling of the bubinga handles I have seen on the internet is improving, and I am getting closer to ordering one.

There is no cure for Bear T/D's!!!!

One potential bandage for the sickness is to buy Wing P II's, as they are much, much cheaper.

I picked up one of the Big Jim red glass risers with a little extra at Compton's this year.

I never realized the variety of woods that a person could collect.
