Price on Bear td in 1970

Hello
I was wondering what the Bear take down wood riser and limbs cost i 1970 ?

I seem to remember about $150. I lived in Chicago area and there used to be a big sportsman show each year. There was an archery shop from Chicago that had one at their booth. I believe that was their price for the " show bow".

Hey rendalin,  I'm not sure what they went for back then - but I'm sure you will have a couple of the knowledgeable guys around here chime in.

I just know what I recently paid for one in close to mint condition and I still feel a bit of a sting in my much lighter weight pocketbook    :)  

But WELL WORTH IT!!  Man she shoots nice, and as lots of guys have said before- there is something truly special about shooting them.

That was a hefty price tag. That would put it somwhere in the 1100- 1200 dollar range today if my coversion chart is corect. Is this the most exspensive bow Bear produced ?
