60 Grizzly Bow Quiver Question
« on: October 05, 2012, 01:30:00 PM »
Hello new to Trad Gang. Have started hunting alot lately with some of my vintage stuff. Aquired a 1960 Grizzly and was wondering if anyone had input on a quiver. I have used a leather-top spring arm quiver on my 65 Kodiak for some time. I was thinking about a leather-top tape-on for the Grizzly? Anyone using these? Any complaints with them as a functional hunting quiver?

Just remember the 4th arrow in the back has to be a 4 or 2 blade head. The brackets can be bent to conform to the limb.
Wrap electrical tape a few wraps first with sticky side out and then flip to sticky in. Won't mess up the bow. Or do a couple of wraps of Saran wrap then tape tightly. Or use 4 1 1/4" ID thick "O" rings slid down the limb and over the brackets. If need be place a piece of high density foam under the brackets to get a tight fit.
