I read that TradGang is the place to go to for vintage recurve experts, so here I go. I picked up 3 vintage recurve bows at a thrift store (for 5 bucks a piece!) last year. They have all been a pleasure to shoot (better than some of the modern recurves I've handled) , with zero delamination, cracks, or problems with the fiberglass recurves. I have been able to ID two of the bows by scouring this forum (a Ben Pearson Cougar and a Ben Pearson Old Hickory), but this last one is giving me some trouble. It's got forest green fiberglass, 3 different types of wood in the handle, and squared off tips, and no markings to ID the make or model. Does anyone here have any idea as to who made this bow, as well as the model name? And possibly the wood that is used in the handle? I'm not interested in the value of this bow, as I am not going to be selling it (I love it too damn much). Thanks in advance.
Here are some pics.
