A1111 Signed by Fred with Stickbowman anyone?
« on: April 24, 2013, 10:52:00 AM »
Out of every bow I have ever owned, this is my most precious. I remember the day I got it and the feeling that came over me that day at Denton Hill. But alas... it must go. Unfortunately Government Sequestration has taken a big bite out of my income, and that coupled with the divorce I am going thru - I must let my prized bow go. It is the one pictured in my avatar.
Wooden handle A1111 signed by Fred with the Stick Bow Man figure. Also signed by Glenn ST. Charles. It is featured on the poster that Rich Tiberio put together on the known Stickbowman bows.
Within the next couple days I will be getting pics together and listing in the classifieds. I just wanted to put a heads up on here to start saving your pennies because I would really like to see this one stay within our circle here rather than put it on the big site.

Hey guys - I have had 16 people contact me about this bow. I am emailing pics to the first guy on Monday (I am out of town for the weekend). If he doesnt like what he sees, I will then give the next guy a chance.

Buyer beware !!!
Any bow should not be considered "sold" until the buyer responds with "I'm pleased".
This shady deal was a real eye opener and not to be forgotten.
I still can't believe it.

Phil, you are correct.  I always include, 'if it doesn't meet your approval, you may return it'.  There should be no harm whether you are dealing with
friends or hopeful friends.

x2 as I posted in the topic that was deleted. This is the largest dollar deal I have ever seen go wrong besides a used subaru GT Legacy lemon money pit; I bought some 5 years ago for $6000  ;o) Did my best to aid in making this deal right; to no avail.

That was a stunner for sure when I sell stuff here or on the auction site I offer a full refund-only way to go.

I have no dog in this fight however I remember a year or so back when a well known refinisher and respected members name was drug through the mud kinda similar to this. Nothing good came of that and I can't see anything better happening with this. The only two people that know exactly what happened are the two parties involved. Care if we drop this one fellas?
