Nick,no ones dragging anyones name thru the mud. The facts are out there and known. If you don't know feel free to ask. This sucks and to think people call certain folks their friend and others try to brush it aside shows either ignorance or arrogance. You earn respect when you act like a MAN!

Yeah, never can understand standing by and defending bad behavior and liars.  Just like the last guy that was spoken about in this thread.  Dozens of folks couldn't get a call or email for over 6 months.  Doesn't sound very respectful to me.  Especially since he was making post here daily and not even answering folks here that were asking.

The one in question on this thread stood by him too.  Birds of a feather they say.

This is not pocket change. Very glad I was invited to pick mine up, and given lunch. I was treated like family. The best buying experience I ever had, and one I will never forget! Thank you to my sellers again. Can't wait until our next meeting.

Is this the facts?????:

1)  Migra Bill offered for sale his signed A riser as noted in the first part of this thread for $3,000 or$3,500.

2) Migra must have had multiple offers and posted this:
"Hey guys - I have had 16 people contact me about this bow. I am emailing pics to the first guy on Monday (I am out of town for the weekend). If he doesnt like what he sees, I will then give the next guy a chance. "

3) Transaction happens and buyer finds out there's filled holes on riser and wants his money back.

4) Migra had already spent money and can't refund money.

5) Try's to resell riser to others that had contacted him, but no one bites now.

Did original buyer still have riser or did he send riser back and was expecting refund that never came? Was it represented that there were no holes during e-mails between them?  Was there an offer for a refund if not satisfied with original deal or was it offered as a final sale?

I know I offer a full refund if not satisfied on any of my deals that I do here, but I don't ever want anyone to be disappointed-I've been here since the beginning. From a buyers standpoint, this should always be asked up front because it's not like the big auction site where it lists if you can return an item or not.  On this site it's up to the seller to offer that and if concerned about that possibility, you should ask if that's available.

All that said, it's too bad this deal happened on a cool piece of history.

Papabear if you read my post I said that the issue was between the buyer and seller and I suppose the TG admin. All I was saying was that everyone else should keep their .02 to themselves and let you guys work it out without forming a lynch mob. But hey what the he77 do I know.......

I think you have it right Ray and I am guessing since Migra quit he did not refund the money and the buyer still has the riser. I cannot imagine selling the piece here or on **** without discussing the filled holes if that is indeed how that happened.    :campfire:

Had this been an **** / PayPal transaction money would have been pulled back out of the account with a third party qualified appraisal.

Nick I respect you and know you as a very responsible member of this forum; and it is true this deal is between the buyer and seller however it is likely one of the highest dollar transactions we have seen here this year, and it does not appear to have ended well. Anything I can learn from it will be of value going forward, and I promise to be civil.

No, he did not refund Gary a dime.
I'm still trying to grasp the concept of "NO HOLES".
I guess if they are "filled already", it does not have any holes? Right?
Buyer beware! Have all details of any purchase in writing!

I must say, I've never met MigraBill or Papabear.
They are considered, to me anyway, as ALL of you, fellow enthusiasts with a common "friendship".
What Migra has done is very unfortunate. Not only for him but all of us here. The circle is smaller than you think.
Honesty goes a LONG way.

Yes Philip and I have never met but we have talked on the phone on a few occasions and I must say the guy is classy and as seen by his responses on this topic looks out for other folks and demands honesty. Which is what impressed me about this site and others as everyone seemed to be going for the betterment of all. I have read somewhere else that someone considered this slander and bashing but the truth ain't slander but lies are lies. Also that I should have tryed to work it out. Beleive me I tryed for over a week with no movemaent on the other end.I would also like to say "Thanks" to Terry for letting this run and get aired out. As Vintage Bears said this is a small circle and friendship and honest trading should prevail. I have collected Archery items since the late 80s got out of it for several years but got the bug again a little over a  year ago. Maybe I should have not got back in?? Anyway if this helps someone else avoid a mishap like this it's all worth it and remember buisness is buisness as Phil said getting  it in writing probably is a good idea.

Where are the 15 other people with $3500 on the wait list for this bow?

Hope the signatures and stickbowman are real.

If they are turn out to be forgeries, this creeps me out.

Given the issues that have now been made known. You are not going to have those 15 or 19 people surface. It's very unfortunate.
