Hoyt Catalog No. 8 -Year?

Hi. I have a vintage Hoyt Catalog No. 8. Can anyone tell me what year that was?  From the looks of the ads and products, etc. it looks like mid 1950s. There is a book advertised in the catalog that was published in 1954.
