I finally got this thing strung up this week, thanks to Steve Angell (BowHunterGA); still straight after sitting for 50+ years.

     

I slowly worked it to full draw over the past 2 days, not a creek or pop to be heard. It has a very smooth even loading and at anchor, feels like she is begging to be loosed!

Gonna get a draw weight measured tomorrow when I have some time. I'm still deciding if I want to try to refinish this one though.

Thanks for all the info in this thread guys. I have nobody to teach me anything about restoring bows. I learn everything hear on trad gang. What a great bunch of guys. Thank you so much

Yes it is I just used the tip overlay advice to repair my tips on a Bear Alaskan.
