New to me Grumley
« on: December 18, 2013, 09:10:00 PM »
I wanted to share my newest bow that arrived today. It's special to me, because much to my surprise it only measures 55.5" from Tip to tip. What would that be for an AMO? ;-) It's the shortest Grumley I have owned. Will I shoot it?    :archer2:   hehehe Likely. It's the bow on the bottom.

Shane very nice a real piece of Bear archery history. I am not so sure I would risk shooting it but I did strung up and shot a 65 year old yew self bow shot it but I only draw 26" and it wasn't valuable like your Grumley.

Ron, I have same draw. Have strung and shot two Grumleys thus far. I have same draw as you so I don't max them out by any means.

A Grumley is on my short list of must have bows.  That looks like a pretty clean one.  If it were mine I would want to shoot it but probably would not.

I have shot a few Grumleys. This one looks to be in good shape for stringing up. No cracks, no scallop cracks, finish is still very nice. my short draw makes it much more easy for me to shoot the older ones.
